The first section of the Mokami Trail, from North West River to Sabeskachu Bight, will be groomed on January 21 and 22. Snowmobilers should exercise caution.

Pending ice accumulation, the remainder of the trail will be groomed as soon as possible, and ice crossings will be marked.

There will also be some trail widening and trimming taking place over the next several weeks.

Please note that the trail has been re-routed just past the gas station and now runs across the old ballfield and behind the residential area on Airport Road. Street crossings are marked - please watch out for traffic.
