Some people just don't seem to get it.

For many years, the Town has operated a brush pit for disposal of yard waste, saving residents the hassle of hauling their leaves and branches to the dump in Goose Bay.

Unfortunately, some people choose to dump their garbage there - here's a photo of some of the old insulation, tires, metal, plastic and other trash that was picked out of the brush pile just this week.

If this continues, the Council may be forced by environment regulations to close the site. Please do your part to keep our town clean.
