Operation Renaissance.
Training for Military International Humanitarian Aid is happening today and tomorrow in North West River.
The scenario
The Town was hit with a severe hurricane last Thursday. There is damage to water and sewer infrastructure. The roof has been ripped off the hospital … and there are a lot of injured and displaced people.
The military assistance has now arrived and setting up a mobile hospital unit at parking lot across from community center… for those injured. (if anyone would like to be a casualty, stop by and let them know you are injured).
Tomorrow at 130 a Griffin helicopter will be landing at the helicopter pad.
The exercise will conclude late tomorrow afternoon.
For everyone's safety, there will be no access to brush tomorrow afternoon.
