What does Level 4 mean?
Level 4 does not change Municipal operations. The office will remain open to the public by appointment only. We are working with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador seeking further clarification of the role of Municipalities in reopening, and what it means for municipal operations. Please take notice that 3 Grey Rock trucks will be accessing the Gravel Pit on Tuesday May 12. They have been advised to respect speed signs, watch for pedestrian traffic and not use engine braking.

In accordance with Provincial Health Regulations regarding COVID-19, The North West River Beach Festival cannot happen this year. We look forward to a great 35th year celebration in 2021.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have been helping to keep our community safe.
To the residents who are helping to keep our employees safe by keeping garbage pickup to a minimum, and to those who take time to put garbage in Town truck at Community Center. This allows staff to continue garbage pickup while still following safety and self distancing protocol.

We would like to applaud the citizens of North West River who are following the Provincial, Federal and Municipal Protocol and staying isolated and in your bubble.
